NEOM honours high-achieving scholarship students from Tabuk in Chicago, showcasing educational success and innovation in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.

In a heartwarming event in Chicago, NEOM, the futuristic sustainable development project in Saudi Arabia, has rolled out the red carpet for its scholarship students from the Tabuk region.

Under the guidance of NEOM CEO Nadhmi Al-Nasr, the celebration was about the hard work and achievements of 130 young scholars who are part of NEOM’s Scholarship Program for the year 2023.

This program is a golden ticket for students from Tabuk, offering them a chance to study abroad and gain hands-on experience in their fields.

Out of the group this year, 118 students made their way to Chicago, where they were celebrated for their impressive educational strides. A notable 49 students received special recognition for their exceptional academic records and innovative projects.

The event was not just about celebrations; it also served as a platform for these young achievers to present their work, mingle with the top brass from NEOM, and discuss future projects.

Building on Success

Following last year’s successful meet-up in Washington, D.C., this year’s event in Chicago was enriched with student presentations focusing on NEOM’s key projects like Trojena, Oxagon, and ENOWA.

The event saw the attendance of prominent NEOM personalities, including Professor Andreas Cangellaris and Dr. Mahmoud Alyamany, who shared their insights and experiences with the students.

NEOM’s CEO, Nadhmi Al-Nasr, shared his pride in the scholars’ achievements, stating, “We are here to celebrate the incredible journey of our students. It is about more than just academic success; it is about building a community of forward-thinkers and innovators.”
